BabyDeck is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-up, and nothing to fill in.
Your name likes, passes and settings live on your phone. If you pair with a partner, the app creates an anonymous identity (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) and syncs to our database only what pairing needs: the display name you chose, your chosen colour, which names you liked, and how far through the deck you are. Your partner sees only the names you both liked — never your individual choices.
No email, no phone number, no contacts, no location, no photos, no advertising identifiers. We show no ads and sell no data.
We use Amplitude to understand aggregate usage (e.g. how many people reach a match). Events carry no personal data: no names you type, no room codes, no liked names — only anonymous counters like "a match happened".
Name packs are one-time purchases handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
Unpair (Settings → Unpair) to delete the shared room from our servers. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone.
